Cliches are Cliches for a Reason: They are Always True

Recently I have been missing my lengthy discussions with my dear dear friend Rock. The way I have been feeling has reminded me of the old saying, "You never know what you've got until it's gone." This is so true. And it got me thinking about all of the other old sayings that are very true. So I've decided to write down all of my favorite cliched sayings! Enjoy:

1. "Mama said there'd be days like this." (Moms are always right, we probably should've accepted that by now.)

2. "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today." (It's a three day weekend and you wait until monday to do all of your homework. Is that just me?)

3. "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy." (Because it's from The Shining a.k.a the best movie of all time! And nobody likes a kill-joy.)

4. "Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies." (Who doesn't get tempted to lie when some jerk won't quit with the inane questions?)

5. "We'll jump off that bridge when we come to it." (We all have things in life that we know are not going to end well, but we have to face them sometime.)

Wait a second.....it turns out that earlier when I said, "all of my favorite sayings" what I actually meant was "as many of my favorite sayings until I realized that no one cares what my favorite sayings are." Lucky for you, it only took me five sayings before I realized this.

You're Welcome.
